内容简介：以台湾光复后为历史背景，人权医师田朝明与田孟淑女士的爱情故事为主轴，勾画出台湾近50年来逐渐被遗忘的民主运动血泪史诗，也带领观众重回历史怀抱，看大时代如何影响小人物，小人物又如何在大时代的洪流下，活出属于自己的热情生命。

Synopsis: To most of Taiwanese nowadays, the enjoyment of democracy, rule of law and human rights seems to be taken for granted. Yet back to the period when the martial law was in force in Taiwan, these values were what many Taiwanese, including Mrs. Tien Meng-Shu and her husband Mr. Tien Chao-Ming, had fought for – with even the price of their own lives if necessary. This documentary depicts major political movements in the post-war Taiwan period through the Tiens’ epic and vicissitudinous love story as a tribute to all the activists who devoted themselves to the independence and democracy of Taiwan.
